Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Migrapal's relocation services.

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Important

Migrapal is a relocation-service company, not a law firm or tax consultancy. Nothing on this site or provided by our advisors constitutes legal or tax advice. For binding legal or tax matters, please consult a licensed attorney (Rechtsanwalt) or tax advisor (Steuerberater).

1. Scope

These terms apply to all services provided by Migrapal UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("Migrapal", "we") to clients ("you") in connection with relocation to Germany, including our Job Seeker, Student, Search Home, Job Placement, and On Arrival Support packages, and any combination of visa assistance, travel assistance, housing search, Anmeldung (city registration) and Hausarzt (GP) registration coordination, job, course, and training placement, and related administrative coordination.

2. Services provided

We provide guidance, coordination, and administrative support for your relocation. We act as an intermediary and coordinator between you and third parties (employers, universities and training providers, landlords and letting agents, travel carriers and agencies, government offices, and healthcare providers); we do not make, and cannot guarantee, any decision that rests with those third parties. The specific scope of services for your engagement is set out in your individual service agreement or package. [TODO: reference the specific package/contract terms once finalized.]

3. Job, course, and training placement

Our job, course, and training placement services (mini-job, part-time, full-time, and Ausbildung placement, and university or course placement) consist of identifying suitable openings, preparing and submitting applications, and coordinating interviews on your behalf. Final hiring, admission, and Ausbildung-contract decisions are made solely by the employer, university, or training provider. We do not guarantee that you will receive a job offer, course admission, or training place, or any particular salary, start date, or outcome.

4. Housing search assistance

Our housing search service (flat search and lease review, temporary accommodation, deposit escrow guidance, neighbourhood orientation, utility and internet setup, and GEZ (ARD - radio tax) registration) consists of searching, shortlisting, and reviewing available properties and coordinating with landlords or letting agents on your behalf. We do not guarantee the availability of any specific property, a landlord's acceptance of your application, or any particular rent, lease term, or move-in date. Rental deposits are paid into a separate escrow account as required by German law; Migrapal does not hold tenant deposits itself.

5. Travel arrangements

Our travel assistance service (e.g. coordinating your journey from India to your destination city in Germany) consists of arranging bookings through third-party carriers, agencies, and partners. Migrapal is not the carrier and is not liable for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, lost luggage, or any other matter within a carrier's or agency's own terms and conditions; these are governed by that provider's own terms, and any claims should be directed to them in the first instance. We recommend that you hold your own travel insurance for the journey.

6. Registration and Hausarzt coordination

Our Anmeldung (city registration) and Hausarzt (GP) registration services consist of booking appointments, preparing documents, and accompanying or briefing you for the appointment. These are administrative coordination services only: they do not constitute legal advice on your residence status, nor medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Your choice of Hausarzt and all medical decisions remain your own, made with a qualified healthcare professional.

7. Client obligations

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documents needed to perform our services, and to promptly inform us of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your case.

8. Fees and payment

Fees are set out in your service agreement or package pricing. [TODO: define invoicing schedule, accepted payment methods, and late-payment terms.]

9. No legal, tax, or medical advice

As stated above, Migrapal is not a law firm, tax consultancy, medical practice, or licensed travel agency. Our advisors may point you to relevant resources or licensed professionals, but any legal, tax, medical, or travel-insurance decisions remain your responsibility.

10. Liability limitations

Migrapal is liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence without limitation. For simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract and, where legally permissible, to the fees paid for the specific service concerned. Migrapal is not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, or decisions of third parties, including employers, universities, training providers, landlords, travel carriers and agencies, government authorities, or healthcare providers. [TODO: confirm limitation figures with counsel before publishing.]

11. Outcomes not guaranteed

Final decisions on visas, permits, housing contracts, job and course placements, and registrations are made by third parties (e.g. government authorities, employers, universities, landlords) beyond our control. We do not guarantee any particular outcome or timeline.

12. Term and termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement as set out in that agreement. [TODO: define notice periods and effects of termination on fees already paid.]

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. [TODO: confirm the agreed place of jurisdiction with counsel.]

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your engagement applies to that engagement.
